Welcome to Resume Tailor ("resume2builder.com", "the Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Resume Tailor website and services operated by Leclezio Consulting Corporation ("we", "us", "our"), located at 320 East 54th Street, Apt 11E, New York, NY 10022.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Resume Tailor is a web-based application that assists users in tailoring their resumes to specific job descriptions using artificial intelligence. The Service uses Claude AI, developed by Anthropic, to generate resume content suggestions based on information provided by the user.
Users are responsible for verifying all AI-generated content. Resume Tailor does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated text. Users must review and verify all content before submitting to employers.
The AI is instructed to never fabricate experience, degrees, or certifications. However, AI output may contain inaccuracies. Users accept full responsibility for the accuracy of their submitted resumes.
You acknowledge that AI-generated suggestions are provided as a starting point and that you bear sole responsibility for the final content of any resume or document you create using the Service.
Account creation and authentication are managed through Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Resume Tailor stores your resume sessions and related data exclusively in your browser's localStorage. We do not maintain a server-side database for storing your resume content. This means:

All users may generate up to one (1) tailored resume per calendar month at no charge. Free tier access is subject to availability and may be modified at our discretion with reasonable notice.
The Pro subscription is available for $10.00 USD per month and provides unlimited resume generations and access to premium features. Payment is processed through Stripe on a recurring monthly basis.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. After cancellation takes effect, your account will revert to the Free tier.
You retain full ownership of all resume content you create using the Service, including any AI-assisted modifications. You are free to use, distribute, and modify your resumes as you see fit.
We retain all rights to the Service itself, including but not limited to the application code, AI prompts, system instructions, user interface design, and underlying technology. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our proprietary systems or methodologies.
You agree not to use the Service to:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LECLEZIO CONSULTING CORPORATION AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Leclezio Consulting Corporation from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or the content of any resume you create using the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.
